Gear Drive Module

TC2001G1
The gear module is designed to introduce students to gear basics by having them construct a single stage spur gear reducer. Exercises include gear installation, installing cup & cone roller bearings, adjusting shaft end-play, adjusting shaft centers for alignment and measuring backlash.
A precision-machined, heavy aluminum gear housing, mounted on a base-plate, machined shafts, and standard industrial spur gears make this a rugged training aid that will provide years of effective training experience.
